How I Work With Students

I work on the Sacramento Health campus, as one of the embedded therapists -- providing counseling support to students in the School of Medicine and the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. My goal is to provide a quiet, safe, reflective space for professional students to connect more deeply with their values, their work, and their relationships.  Together, we make sense of conflict, disconnection, trauma and anxieties.

I am available to work with all students in the School of Medicine and the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing and provide services to individuals, groups and couples.  I use a systemic/relational, strengths-based and mindfulness approach when working with students on issues such as: anxiety, self-identity, grief and loss, relationship conflict, family trauma, professional development, health issues, and happiness at work.
