About Me
I am a Health Service Psychology Doctoral Intern, and I am an international student and immigrant from China. In the past, I have had the privilege to work with Asian immigrants, individuals/couples/families with international backgrounds, first generation college and graduate students at community mental health centers, university counseling centers, and hospital settings. My dissertation focuses on Chinese lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals' coming-out and healing experiences. I love music, movies/anime, traveling, enjoy time with my family, and especially napping with my beautiful fur babies!

How I Work With Students
I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for you so that you can be who you are and feel free to explore and heal. I work from a strength-based and multicultural approach with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe pain is inevitable in our life, but how we face and process the pain is our decision. We will work together to name your unique challenges, create personalized strategies to help you face these challenges, and start to develop or strengthen an accepting and compassionate psychological home for you.
